Basically, Andersen's books all come down to one central message. You'll know why when you've read them. The Greatest Power in the Universe is a valuable part in this this series. The author describes methods of attaining personal peace, a positive attitude and success that includes, but goes far beyond the materialistic level. At the same time the reader gains understanding of Andersen's philosophy, which is very enlightened (and enlightening)and transcends the borders of individual philosophies and religions. We are presented with a set of ideas that are free of dogmatism. It soon becomes evident that there is no "brainwashing" involved, that the author's conclusions are self-explanatory once you grasp them. And they are easy to understand. The style is not complicated, just as the contents are not really complicated. The most difficult aspect may even lie in the simplicity of these ideas. So this book is a perfect choice for all who wish to extend their horizons, are interested in the subject matter generally or simply want to achieve specific goals in whatever aspect of their lives. Those who usually are skeptical of terms like 'spirituality' will discover that this subject can be free of all the dark and heavy mystery that we unfortunately find so often.

To conclude: A perfect balance between truly ineteresting information and the step-by-step means to turn that information into successful, peaceful and happy living. A work of timeless value.

This was my greatest discovery of last year. An incredible, amazing book that reads like a thriller. It covers the field of brainwaves (alpha, theta, etc) as a door to the subconscious mind, the author's use of an alpha meter and his fascinating exploration of how to induce these receptive brainwave states. He tells of his research with various drugs in inducing altered states: acid, alcohol, amphetamines, barbiturates, marijuana etc. He also deals with the chakras, yoga, meditation, hypnosis and nutrition in great detail. Other topics encompass the male/female forces, sex ecology, psychic power, the brotherhood of light, the master self, the master game and the master plan. A charming read on many levels and a treasure trove of mystical insight. I have also read the author's Three Little Words but for me this book is far better. I originally read this book in one day because I couldn't tear myself away, and soon I'll read it again, but this time I'll study it properly by reading a chapter a day. Essential reading for those interested in metaphysics, self-improvement and all aspects of the esoteric. Fans of especially Stuart Wilde's books will love it!
