This is not a greatest hits collection although it does contain the two songs that Slim is most readily identified with, Rose Marie and Happy anniversary. Indian love call, China doll, I'll take you home again Kathleen and Love song of the waterfall are other favorites among Slim's fans that are included.

Most of the songs here are covers, but Slim's unique voice ensures that they are fresh and distinctive. There are western songs (Riders in the sky, Red river valley and Tumbling tumbleweeds), pop songs (Paper roses, Top of the world, Stranger on the shore, Secret love and Twelfth of never) and country songs (Rhinestone cowboy, Most beautiful girl, I fall to pieces, I love you because, From a jack to a king, Have I told you lately that I love you and You are my sunshine). There are even a couple of songs (I can't stop loving you and There goes my everything) that began as country songs but became pop classics too.

If you want Slim Whitman's greatest hits, most of them are not here (though the really big ones are), but this is a fine introduction to his music.

What can you say about Slim Whitman That has not been said a million or more times. Marvelous, unique,Unmatchable! This is a great collection! Gotta love him.
