Yuck! Guess I should have realized by the 1995 original release date that these were remakes vs original/popular versions. Silly me, I thought they were the "real" oldiest just pulled together. I suppose that the title then would have read "Greatest Hits" vs "Songs". Had I listened to the song I was really looking for (The First Thing) I would have know immediately NOT to order this cd.

Jimmy was fun to listen to .. it hurts to hear these renditions. .. We didn't even bother to listen to more than the first few on the cd.

If I could find my paperwork I'd send this back for a refund. I'll be very careful from now on to look for "original release" info before ordering. AND, shame on this vendor for not being up-front with it.

I bought this CD for the "To A Sleeping Beauty" song. We are playing at our daughters wedding. I love it & can relate so closely to his song since he speaking from his heart.
