Mom's Gift,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Greatest Songs (DVD)
Purchased this for my Mom. Through the years, I've heard her mention Liberace this, Liberace that. When she received the DVD, she sat in front of that TV for days watching it over and over again. Sometimes, she'll put it on just to listen to the music as she goes about her day. The DVD is a very nice production and a great way for the younger generation to be introduced to a gentle, yet great performer. His smile alone is worth the price of the DVD.

This is a wonderfull 5 1/2 hours of great piano playing of all kinds of music both classiacl and pouular songs with Liberace 's brother George and his orchestra. The filming is very clear and the sound quality is excellent. To spice up , you will enjoy the spoken brief commentary that Liberace makes before each piece. A greate price for such a great performance

A Forgotten Treasure,

This review is from: Greatest Songs (DVD)
After having seen the premiere of a cabaret production about Liberace last weekend in his home town of Milwaukee, I HAD to order this. The quality of this set is phenomenal, especially for clips from a TV show almost 60 years old. Very entertaining! Really shows what an incredible talent he was. I remember my Mom watching his show weekday afternoons when I was just a toddler. What a treasure!
