In *The Greatest Thing in the World* Henry Drummond, a liberal Christian minister of the late 1800's, gives us a powerful essay on Paul's chapter on love, found in I Corinthians 13. The short essay is broken into three parts: The Contrast; The Analysis; and The Defense. The book is very short - it can probably be read in 20 minutes - but it's a 20 minutes that could change your life, and your outlook on Jesus's admonition that we love one another. I never fail to feel uplifted and inspired by Drummond's sermon on love. I recommend this book for all who are seeking to be better expressions of Love.

Such a helpful view of how the Sermon on the Mount can guide us every day. The simplicity of Jesus' message in this booklet will be helpful to anyone who reads it, regardless of their religious beliefs.

Another equally helpful booklet I purchased on amazon is "As a Man Thinketh" by James Allen. Buy both and you will be greatly benefited.. Terrific!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the Finest Books ever written. If we lived by what was written in this book, the world would solve it's problems and
so would all of us. Everyone should read this book regardless of their religion or even if they do not have any interest in
organized religion. The Principles in this book are a way to live.

This is probably the shortest book I have read. But it is powerpacked with insight. I loved this book and found it helpful to my Christian walk.

This is one of the best free books out there. I searched for it from a comment in a Normal Vincent Peale book and was richly rewarded. The Greatest Thing in the World is ... Love. This is an essay on 1st Corinthians 13, done in a masterful way. You've never so completely explored what Love is until you've read this. It's a classic of Christian Literature.

I love that this is about Love from a Christian perspective and can show Christians what it means to Love, especially with so many different religious leaders interpreting God's Love in different ways, it's nice to let the Word speak for itself. And Henry Drummond does exactly that.
