TOO BREAKABLE!, December 22, 2009
This review is from: Greatland Easy Set Gazebo Canopy Blue Tent 10' x 10' x 8' (Misc.)
As with the previous review, the metal accordion supports on mine broke as well. It claims its good for sun and RAIN. Do not trust that. Mine was set up to protect from rain and a light wind tore it up. You'd think a heavy wind came through but it didn't. Don't get me wrong I can still set it up and all but it doesn't look nearly as good as it use to and I paid over $100 for mine.

Do Not Buy, July 27, 2008
This review is from: Greatland Easy Set Gazebo Canopy Blue Tent 10' x 10' x 8' (Misc.)
I bought this Greatland Easy-Set Gazebo off of ebay, prior to a camping trip. Mine came with a mesh screen. Set it up twice in my backyard prior to my trip and although I could tell it wasn't the sturdiest construction, it went up easily and quickly and it all packed back into the carry bag nicely. Went camping this month and one of the metal accordian supports broke when I put it up. The metal actually snapped in two. I duck-taped it together and figured I'd try to patch it when I got home - then another of the accordian supports broke in the same way when I was taking it down. I wasn't trying to force anything, the supports just broke. I ended up just leaving it in the trash bin at the campsite.

Great if you assemble it properly., October 23, 2011

We have had one of these for over five years and have used it extensively. If it breaks it is likely because it was forced rather than a defect in design or materials. A little WD40 on the uprights helps it go up easier. We set ours up once for a camping trip in Oklahoma and were buffeted all night by a lighting storm with high winds and rain and it came through without a scratch. You need to use wire stakes in the corners and guy it carefully with good tent stakes, I just got around to replacing the original corner cords with nylon parachute cord in safety green as the original black lines were hard to see at dusk or in the dark. We also put flagging tape on the guys to keep from running into it. I can't imagine a better product for the money.

Very Flimsy and Fragile, July 27, 2010
This review is from: Greatland Easy Set Gazebo Canopy Blue Tent 10' x 10' x 8' (Misc.)
LIke the other reviewers, mine went up and was obviously very breakable. Several supports bent during set up and take down. Second use a gust of wind turned it over. Nothing violent, but the frame turned inside out and broke at numerous points. I have wieghts to anchor the corners, but they attach at the top of the corners, and the frame was too delicate to use them. Very delicate, very breakable.
