Filled with thorough historic photographs of infamous players, managers and ballparks.
Vought it for our 11 year old grandson, into his 3rd season og little league to inspire and teach him.
He is thrilled and intrigued by it. Asked Grandpa why Babe Ruth refered himself as a bum!

This is a great book to have in your library if you are a baseball lover. Got this for my godson who is all into baseball and I can't keep it out of his hands. Everytime I go over to visit, he can lists so many statistics and he loves learning about the old players.

The history and the personalities ooze out of every page of this book. We read the book after watching the Ken Burns series on baseball. What a celebration of America's favorite passtime!

I bought this book to give a 16-year-old baseball player for Christmas who loves the sport. He will love all the data and pictures. It's the "real deal".
