This series is great for a country overview. I have read both Greece and Egypt and they're perfect for my third grader. She can read them herself and the photos and info are all fresh and interesting. I highly recommend these.

This is from my wife:"I was surprised, frankly, how thin this book is. However it does a great job of illustrating some unique features of the country. We bought it to donate to our elementary school (grades K-2) library. I think it's perfect for that age group. It has bold, crisp photos and large text. What I like about this most though is the meaningful content. It's written for children, but is surprisingly informative."
