An imaginative "just-so" story with fantastic art,

This book might have been entitled "How the Zebra got its stripes" - it is like the well-known "just-so" stories in that sense. However, the way the zebra gets stripes is quite imaginative. The artwork is outstanding - colorful, somewhat abstract, and fits the text perfectly.

I'm 22yo and I have loved this book since I was a kid, I don't have any kids yet but bought it just to keep in my collection, It has a great message and the artwork is absolutely beautiful.
