Excellent reading helps (with on-page glosses and notes), but I wish this anthology was a lot fuller, something to keep as a permanent treasury of Greek literature. At the very least the lack of a selection of lyric poetry really stands out. As it is this anthology needs to be used with other JACT Reading Greek booklets to give a properly rounded coverage, but that adds up to too much money unless you are forced to buy them for a course. For a Greek ANTHOLOGY, I would ideally want a single volume that can serve as a follow-up to the 'Reading Greek' introductory course, with enough material to provide for a second one-and-a-half-year reading program.
