This book explains things so well, it really helps you to understand what is causing obesity. It isn't really a diet, more about low glycemic, low carb eating. Lots of good fresh food, nothing extreme. The way humans are meant to eat... I wish he would republish, I bought it used. Well worth it.

I received the book in good condition and I find it very informative regarding insulin and other hormones. It has a diet that has normal food items that can be purchased at the supermarket which should be easy to follow and should help with insulin resistance.It takes the middle road regarding carbohydrates, including some good carbs but not the white bread, white rice etc. which don't have much food value. It states that "You don't have to be a rocket scientist to realize that food can prevent and treat disease. I enjoyed reading it and now have to put it into practise and see if I get results.
