berlitz greek phrase book
I am so glad that I was able to find this book since I had looked in so many shops. I find it extremely helpful for my trip

Worst Phrase book we have ever used!
This book has a guide to the phonetic spelling that is less than helpful. Usually it is easy to 'sound out' the local language, not so here. I picked this based on the reviews and the fact is was Berliz. We got our car stuck in the country and could NOT communicate at all expect for hand signals. We couldn't even find the word for olive! We left this at a hotel and...

It looks like a great help....shows Greek words and phrases in Greek letters with translation into English, pronunciation of response phrases, all organized by subject/category.
We'll know more when we get to Greece, in 3 weeks! |
