This little book is recommended if nothing else for the big font, which in certain places is giant and multicolored. The pictures are also cool. So much of what we read in Ancient Greek is found in dry, scholarly editions, so it's nice to have a Greek book that you'd be proud to put on your coffee table.

As to the substance of the book, it includes a number of great proverbs from Homer, Meander, Aeschylus and others. Some of them are a little tough, but the book includes translations in English (and modern Greek!) Committing some of the them to memory is an effective and fun way to improve your Ancient Greek skills.
