I love this book. I teach drama and music to elementary students and have used this book with young people ages 8-13 very effectively. Dr. Cullum has successfully distilled these ancient plays for children preserving the essence of the originals. Bravo, Dr. Cullum!

I bought a copy of this book several years ago, but decided when I moved that it was one thing I could sacrifice. Unfortunately I regreted this decision and when I checked, it was a terribly expensive book to replace. I checked Amazon and was able to get a replacement copy second hand for about 14 dollars.......Lucky Me!!!

As a Middle School history teacher, I've found Mr. Cullum's re-telling of Greco-Roman plays and Shakespeare (a different work) in modern-day, MS-level English to be valuable assets in both my classroom and for personal enjoyment. Great for either classroom teachers or homeschooling moms looking for something to jazz up their curriculum!
