This review is from: A Greek Temple (Hardcover)
"Greek Temple" is part of the great "Inside Story" series. This series teaches history through the study of architecture and great buildings. "Greek Temple" carefully reconstructs the construction of the Parthenon in ancient Athens. The author Fiona MacDonald does solid job of describing the building techniques used in erecting the Parthenon. But what makes this book really work are the intricate architectural illustrations of Mark Bergin. He is one of the finest illustrators working in children's historical non-fiction. This is a great book that can be picked up used at a very reasonable price. Purchase it and you will become hooked on the "Inside Story" sries. Highly recommended.
