I became exasperated with conventional medicine and it's toxic effects on my body. For years I searched believing their had to be a reason to suffer so much. Arthritis and gout and intestinal problems and panic attacks and depression kept me imprisoned in my own home. Something inside me was showing me the way to good health. I tried to listen and it was hard because it was hard to deny big white hospitals and professionals in perfectly white jackets. But I listened anyhow, and I was led to a health food store and was introduced to a brand new way of living that I was never taught before....how strange I thought to myself. I would soon learn the truth fast enough. So I took herbs and read books and felt great and changed my diet, but their was a MAC'S on every corner. It was hard to eat right. The same ones who pushed drugs said that I was delusional to think that food and herbs could make me well. Maybe they were right, they seemed to have all the money and the power. Then my trusting wife one day saw me suffering with gout and arthritis, and couldn't stand to see me suffering any longer: " That's it!" she barked, "you'er going with me to visit a lady I heard about who is selling green powder". "Oh Lord save me," I cried , but followed anyway. The moment that green powder hit my mouth I knew I had found the answer I had been looking for. Within a month taking the barley green faithfully, the arthritis went away, I didn't feel desperate anymore and the panic attacks subsided, and the depression went away. I felt like doing something. I had new strength and my wife asked, "What's got into you", when I reached and grabbed her one day. I became a distributor of barley green and got Mary Swope's book and studied Dr Hiagawara's literature, as he was the founder of barley green and a medical doctor at that. This is just a small booklet about green barley essence. It is an excellent food supplement and this booklet basically just tells you why. Gives good nutritional information, comparing it to other foods, etc.
