4.0 out of 5 stars A Must-Read for Career Changers and Career Makers! June 25, 2009
Format:Paperback
Green Careers is a great resource for people wanting to learn about jobs in this emerging career segment. Cassio and Rush have found a way to convey meaningful and useful information about Green Careers through the thoughtful combination of statistics and real-world-stories. Jobs are presented in logical categories making it very easy to navigate the book. More importantly, interviews with people who are currently active in Green Careers adds depth and interest making this more than a resource guide. You will discover real pearls of wisdom in the "advice" given by those interviewed to those considering a Green Career. This is a great go-to book for people new to the Green Careers field as well as those who are looking to expand existing field expertise.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Must for College Career Centers June 5, 2011
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I purchased this book for the "green" networking organization I wanted to start at my school. This is a great book that outlines a myriad of job opportunities in a wide variety of industries and positions ranging from engineers to park rangers to designers and architects. I would recommend this book to high school and university career services centers looking to add to their libraries. Not necessarily a good buy for individuals looking at particular industries, I hope the author plans to update this book from time to time in order to accommodate the growing drive for workers moving towards more sustainable practices in all industries.
