this is a nice hamper, but it does shrink if you follow directions. you should only wash in cold water and don't put it in the dryer. the company is great, though. if you contact them, they will send you new fabric free if it shrinks..

I originally bought this hamper in blue. Of the three stars I have given this hamper, 1 star is for the attractive design and 2 stars are for the really great mesh bag, which does make transporting baby's dirty laundry to the washing machine very easy, but I must let you know that this hamper shrinks when washed! The washing instructions say it is machine washable and it is attached to the wooden frame by velcro so that it can come off for cleaning. I followed the specific instructions on the label, but when it came out of the dryer it was two inches shorter and would not fit on the wooden frame. Not only that but the fabric was completely worn out.

In spite of this, I have ordered another one (this time in pink), because I really love the look and size of this hamper. I guess I will just have to be more careful about keeping it clean, and I'll hand wash it next time around.

I loved this hamper at first, but then my husband managed to get a stain on the cover of this hamper. So I, of course, decided to wash it. I washed it in the gentle cycle on cold wash and rinse and tumble dried it on low heat just as the directions stated and it shrunk so badly that I can't even fit it on the stand anymore. Not only that, but the seams all came loose, the velcro is falling off and one of the buttons fell off. I'm terribly disappointed because I got this as a shower gift and I have no receipt so Babies R Us will not let me exchange it. I'm not saying don't buy it, just don't wash it!

This is a great hamper. I love the mesh bag that is on the inside of the hamper, it makes it very easy to do the wash. Just grab the bag with everything in it and off to the washer. I just place everything back in the bag once wash is complete and head back to the nursery. I carry the bag with all clothes in it and fold them/hang them in the nursery. Very easy to assemble!!! A wonderful product!!

I love this hamper because the mesh bag easily detached and can be brought to the laundry. And when the mesh bag ripped, we contacted the company and they sent us replacements for free. That's amazing!

I received this hamper as a baby shower gift. I used it for a month and my daughter managed to get a stain on it so I washed it and it shrunk big time. My husband could not get the cover back on because it shrunk. I followed the directions and it still shrunk. I called Kids line customer service and they sent me new one at no cost. I would recommend to wash it in cold water and hang dry it. Do not dry this item in the dryer.

With our first baby, we didn't buy anything that wasn't absolutely necessary. For our second baby, we received a generous Babies R Us gift card and went to buy all the things we always felt would have been nice the first time. This is a great hamper. We love the ability to remove the lining and use as a laundry bag. Also, the mesh inner liner seems to work well at keeping those juicy, baby laundry stains from staining the hamper fabric itself.

Hamper serves it purpose but don't wash it otherwise you'll have to buy another! I thought I better wash since it is a cloth material and I'm putting dirty clothes in it. I followed the washing directions and it shrunk so bad that I can't get the velcro ends to each other. Have the manufacturers followed their own washing instructions???

There's a detachable net inside so you don't have to carry the whole hamper to the washing machine. Just carry the net sack.

The hamper works great, but don't make the mistake of putting it in the dryer. It shrinks and no longer will fit on the frame!
