I wanted this book in Chinese. Instead, it is the regular book in English with the Chinese translation in a much smaller font, off to the side. It's like having "subtitles" and the characters are so small it's difficult for me to read them - even more so for the baby's grandparents. Disappointed.

My kids loved this book when they were younger. They asked me to read it so many times I memorized most of it. Apparently they did too because sometimes they would "read" it to me (from memory) before they knew how to read.

They loved the colorful pictures and opening the little flaps to read the text underneath.

It's a short book and very easy to read before bedtime.

We bought some of the other Dr Seuss books but none compared to Green Eggs and Ham.

Last night my five year old picked up Green Eggs and Hams and started reading the book without my help. At that moment, I realized the enormous value of Dr. Seuss, the repeating of phrases make readers feel confident about reading. Furthermore, as I read some of the pages, I easily got her to read more- she could not wait to join the fun. Most of the time when I read this book to my children, the story seemed long. Yet, on this night, the book went by in a flash; all good stories have to come to end.
