As a long time fan of Lari White's music, I was pleasantly surprised when I heard the first track from this cd. I think it's great. I enjoyed every song. I was glad to see a female country singer step out and do something R&B-ish rather than a more pop sound. I am a country music fan but I also love bluesy soul/R&B stuff. Get the CD, grab a glass of your favorite beverage, light some candles and soak in a bubble bath while you "soak in" Green Eyed Soul. Ummmmm

I think she has a fine voice but I don't like the synthy, 80s style of this CD. I liked the more country stuff and this soul album is well, overproduced. Lari White is a talented singer/songwriter and I purchased Lead Me Not in both cassette and Cd.
