5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the Price!
This product is great for a quick pop-up and take down. I have used it in my small back yard for sun shade. We do not have much wind so I'm not sure how sturdy it is in a lot of wind. It does have stakes and rope that comes with it. It is very large and has a lot of height. I think this is great for the price. I like how it really folds up and you can store it in a bag...

3.0 out of 5 stars good overall but not strong enough
I am using it as additional covered area for large garden tools. Pros -stands up to wind, very easy to put up - one person can do it, two people would be better; carrying bag is a plus- especially if you have a dog who is impatient and decides to unpack the shipping box. He ripped the box, the carrying case and then got tired which saved the canopy from getting damaged...

Cons - the fabric sags a bit and after rain it creates a puddle of water that then leaks through. So I put two coats of water-proof spray - it reduced, but not completely fixed, the problem. Then one day I looked at it and it was bent way too low -- the light frame could not hold the weight of the water in that "puddle" of water and bent the horizontal support pieces. It still stands but I use tarps to cover most valuable items under it. Would not buy it again. It should be good for short trips to the beach, market sales, etc. and you have to fold it after the use. Do not buy it for permanent use.

I like how it really folds up and you can store it in a bag and put it in a large deck box. It does take 2 people to put up or 1 confident person! If you want something really sturdy, you will have to spend more money. For small gatherings and pretty predictable nice weather (like So Cal)and ground to stake it in, this is your product!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Lightweight Beach Canopy, July 2, 2008

This is a very good quality light weight canopy (20 lbs). It's very easy to assemble and dismantle. The price is very competitive compared to other similar products on the market that are much more expensive and just too heavy to carry out to the beach along with everything else you have to take.

1.0 out of 5 stars Folding tooless canopy, September 5, 2008
At first we thought this canopy was going to be fantastic. It was lightweight, easy to put up. We brought it to the beach and used it - no problem. But there was no wind. The second day there was a breeze, the canopy moved and a leg BROKE! I was actually at this site to try to buy parts, but there aren't any. I really feel ripped off by shoddy construction. You'd better look at the reviews for the blue canopies. They seem to have the same problem. Not worth it!

2.0 out of 5 stars not very strong, February 6, 2010

This review is from: Green - Light Duty 'Instant' Foldable Portable Canopy 10' x 10' Tent - Carrying Pouch Included (Misc.)
as pop up tents go I know they are only intended for occassional use and not to be kept up. However this one is not very strong at all. I have bought the same types before that were stronger but did cost more. Price was very good but best used to keep sun off on a calm day. Porbably will not hold up well in rain or wind.

I was a little skeptical buying this online but I am so glad I did. It takes two people to setup but its so easy and fast. To take it down is just as simple and quick. I've only used it on days that were not windy so I can not vouch for how it stands up under those conditions. All I can say is so far so good. I recommend!

I chose to get this canopy instead of installing an awning for my terrace. It is easy to put up and take down. I consider it a real bargain.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not good for the beach, August 3, 2008
This review is from: Green - Light Duty 'Instant' Foldable Portable Canopy 10' x 10' Tent - Carrying Pouch Included (Misc.)
I bought this for the beach. It worked very well for a few days, but then it got sand in the mechanism and one of the supports broke. While it worked it was terrific, but it really isn't built for the beach. It would be great in a backyard, though.

Exactly what I was looking for. A little hard for one person to put up, but can be done with patience and a little muscle.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good value, April 12, 2009

I bought this canopy for an indoor, industrial, manufacturing operation. We used it inside for 6 months and it worked fine for shielding light. Since I have been using it outside for events. It works fine and was of low cost. It has thin aluminum legs, so it wouldn't take much abuse but it's light enough to haul to a parade or tailgating. Just don't use it for your art-fair booth. For something that needs to be up for days on end, loosen up the purse strings and plan to spend $150-$200.
