Outstanding Guitar Play Rates As One of Best Ever,
By
This review is from: Green Grass & High Tides (Digitally Remastered: 1996) (MP3 Download)
Hidden in a song that sounds hardly worth the praise is about eight-solid-minutes of one of the nearest things one can get to lightning created by a couple of guitars. If you get off on any of Gilmour, Clapton or Page's fast licks, you'll get off on this one, too.

Fanastic Guitar Solo,

What makes this song so outstanding is that the major portion of this nearly 10 minute song is a ferocious guitar solo that seems to go on forever. If you are a connoisseur of Southern Rock and great licks, this song is for you. This is the last song on MTV Rockband's game for a solo tour completion and I thought my arm was going to fall off after this sucker! Happy to report that although I didn't make it to the leaderboard with this song on Medium, I'll have a great time trying to master this song on Hard and Expert.

I was introduced to this from Rock Band, and pretending to play it really made me want to keep listening to it. Yeah, it's mostly just guitars, but it's guitars that rock in the way only the best early 70s rock really can - it really makes you feel alive.
