About the Author
Martyn Robinson currently works in the Science and Communication Unit at the Australian Museum in Sydney promoting and explaining natural history and the work of the Museum's scientists. He has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology and has worked at the Museum for more than 20 years. He has published and illustrated scientific papers on many animals and written natural history articles for popular magazines and books, including the Green Guide to Dangerous Creatures. He has also been involved in gathering information on frog populations for the New South Wales Frog Watch Program and the Frog and Tadpole Study Group.

Lovely pictures, some quite good info, but basically not really useful. If he stresses the importance of identifying an animal so much, then he has to give the latin name, too, a very serious omission! So, nice to look at, hence the 3 stars. But otherwise rather disappointing.
