This graphic novel mainly focuses on Kato, from his childhood to present day as Green Hornet's sidekick. This graphic novel actually doesn't have much Green Hornet/Kato action in it. It's mainly Kato explaining his whole life in flash backs, it also shows how he comes to team up with The Green Hornet. Their is very little Britt Reid in this. I found this to be quite an enjoyable read. I was expecting them to explain Britt's past a little more, but I guess the movie might focus on that.

I haven't read a Green Hornet comic until now, so I know very little about how accurate any of it is compared to the older GH comics. Looking forward to the movie, looks like it'll be fun one.
