I have been playing with making shapes out of lights to amuse myself. I wanted a different color so I bought the green laser. The light is amazingly bright, so much that the beam is visible in the dark. This model has a great feel and weight to it. It appears to be made of quality metal with a brushed aluminum finish. It's about the size of a pen and the switch is located in a spot that I find easy to use. The box it comes in is sturdy. It's easy to put in the batteries. I am quite satisfied with this purchase.
