I was looking for a bold roast decaf and this one fit the bill.

Update 1/7/2012:

I am not happy that most K-Cups seem to cost upwards of $1 a cup from on-line sellers. You can still get caffinated cups at Costco and Sams for about 0.45 cents. For me, anything over $0.50 is too much to pay for a cup of coffee; I drink 3-4 per day. It seems that these K-Cups have gotten a bit outrageous in their pricing. I have gone to using the K-Cup coffee filter unit that allows you to grind your own at a fraction of the cost, and more Eco-Green friendly. Please read on for my description of this K-Cup coffee variety.

If you search the web, I don't think you will find a low review for this product anywhere - Green Mountain French Roast Decaf. Most people rate it near 5 star!

This is one of my favorite evening coffee with the convenience of K-cups! I tend to vary between this version and Green Mountain's Dark Magic Decaf to make things interesting; I like Bold coffee flavor, and they both deliver. This French Roast has really great, smooth taste - so, the first time you may be very surprised decaf could taste that good. To be honest, I don't think it is nearly as bold as the caffinated versions such as G.M. Sumatra, Paul Newman's Bold, or Emeril's Big Easy. However, the flavor is there in this decaf without a doubt. For those who like a more balanced coffee - like a medium-light roast Columbian, I think this decaf version is just as smooth and balanced with no hint of any bitterness, and certainly a bit more flavor to boost. This coffee does not have any of the bitterness, nor smokey flavor like in Starbuck's French Roast (but I like Starbuck's F.R. coffee too)!

I just wish SAM's Club, or Costco would carry this great late afternoon - evening coffee. Also, I hope someone will market a great tasting 50/50 cup which I like in the afternoons! For now, I must blend my own and use the K-Cup coffee filter attachment.

We love the flavor of this decaf coffee. Thanks to the K-cup design, the coffee is always made fresh cup by cup. Following the experience I even bought GMCR stock. Great company with deserved success in the US but also overseas.
