If you like a salsa which tastes home-made and is made with all natural ingredients, you should try this brand. Ingredients include: Ripe Tomatoes, Fresh Onions, Fresh Tomatillos, Fresh Pasilla Peppers, Fresh Jalapeño Peppers, Fresh Cilantro, Apple Cider Vinegar, Fresh Parsley, Fresh Garlic, Sea Salt, Spices.

There are no preservatives, it's fat-free, low salt, gluten free, has no genetically modified ingredients and no allergens. You refrigerate after opening up to two weeks.

Calories are 10 calories for 2 tablespoons. Sugars are less than 1 g. Vitamin C 8% and Vitamin A 8%. There's a lot of powerful flavor packed into 2 tablespoons, although it's a mild salsa. Love to put it on taco salad on spinach, made with ground turkey sauteed with onions, peppers, with added corn and black beans. Then add the salsa and tomatoes and avocados on the top. So flavorful and low calorie.

Best salsa I've ever eaten. Had never seen it in any of the stores in Texas where I normally shop; then ran across it in Louisiana. I've always said they're more civilized over there! Takes a real cajun to know good salsa! Ingrid.d, Milam, Texas

I am a native New Mexican; salsa is a staple, not a condiment around here! I bought this on major sale at the local grocery, intrigued that someone east of the Mississippi would actually produce a salsa that made its way all the way to the Southwest. I figured if it was not up to snuff for our household, it could be turned into chile con queso or fed to the compost. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! While not much like the salsas you find around here, it has a nice, fresh taste. It's slightly sweet, but not from added sugar -- more like the tomatoes are just really nice and ripe. I detect a little cumin, which I've always felt is used as a cover-up for something amiss in most things, but in this case, it's very subtle and actually adds to, rather than masks the other flavors. If I come across it again, I wouldn't mind trying the medium; the mild is just that -- mild. My stepdaughter liked it, and she usually wimps out if anyone says the word "chile" to her. Well done, Green Mountain Gringo!
