These Green Onion screen protectors are excellent.

They can be applied fairly easily to the iPhone and there will be few, if any air bubbles. I had a few air bubbles on my iPhone after applying this product but after an hour, the air bubbles sealed themselves shut. Additionally, these screen protectors have an excellent form fit with the iPhone. When I was trying undo the screen protector to extract a piece of dust that got on my screen while I was installing the screen protector, I had a very difficult time finding a place where I can lift the screen protector without damaging it because it fit so well with the iPhone's screen.

The texture is nice and smooth and using the iPhone with this screen protector feels a lot nicer than the naked glass of the iPhone.

Just keep two things in mind when you use this product:

This is JUST a screen protector. It is not an anti-glare film or a privacy filter film. If you want those types of products, you'll have to look elsewhere.

Make sure your iPhone screen is ABSOLUTELY clean before you apply this product. What I recommend is using a cloth with isopropyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol soaked disposable wipes (often sold at optometry shops for cleaning glasses) to clean the iphone screen. Isopropyl alcohol is great for cleaning electronics and I use it to clean thermal paste from the surface of a computer processor's die. Let it dry while preventing dust or dirt from getting on the screen. after it is dry, apply the screen protector.

There are many on the market that I could have chosen from. The Green Onions brand delivered exactly what it said on its packaging. It's made in Taiwan but I heard the company might be Japanese. It was easy to install because of it's design, it comes with a plastic piece that sticks out nicely. I didn't even have to use some additional stuff it came with; two thumb sized cleaning pads, and a squeegee card. And you get two screen protectors instead of just one like most brands. The product even made my screen look BETTER! I had a small scratch or two at the top and they are gone because it bounces the light differently now! So I can't see the scratches-!

I really like these protectors; they're easy to install, and once in place they are quite transparent and seem to protect well. The only thing preventing these from a five-star rating, in my view, is that both of the samples that I used fail to adhere in one small corner (different phones, so it's not a phone issue). Still, I would (and will) purchase these again.

UPDATE 12/4: I've had the first one of these on for nearly four months of pretty rough use -- and it's still perfect. Nothing at all like my experience with other types. I've no idea why there's so much negativity about these. I think they're great.

I've tried three or four other types & this seems to be the best. The plastic is a little thicker & stiffer than the "free" (shipping only) ones, and this makes it much easier to apply without messing it up. I haven't tried this but the instructions (minimal!) seem to indicate one can remove & replace it without totally messing it up if air bubbles happen.

I got one tiny air bubble which I couldn't "squeegy" out when I installed it. Curiously, it has disappeared on its own after 24 hours. Next is to see how well the thing lasts -- if it's bad I'll update the review.

I have tried several other screen protectors for my iPod Touch. The recurring problem with all of them is applying them without any air bubbles. It's always a complicated process to achieve the best results. However, these screen protectors went on without any problems whatsoever. And, it was fast and easy!

It certainly wasn't worth the 13 dollars spent. It has the same quality as a less expensive screen protector--no more glossy and no more easier to apply without bubbles. I would not buy again

I ended up throwing away both of them as they were both defective!! Upper part of the protector was improperly cut. It looked ripped when I put it on my iphone. Besides I could not get rid of the bubbles either. It is just a waste of money. Go ahead and buy one of those brands that goes for 1 cent. They will definitely do better than this one.

The corners bent easy. Make sure you get it right the first time or you can forget about it.

Did not last for even 1 month!!!! buy the 0.1 cent products listed in amazon.com instead of this one and save money

I bought this production right after I got the phone which is almost a year ago. It took less than 10 minutes to apply both front and back. The screen look great, and I never had issue with bubbles. A few weeks back while walking my dog, the metal part on the leash smack against the screen and left a small whole on it. Worse yet, last week I accidentally dropped the phone on concrete. Although the phone had the original bumper from Apple, the phone landed on its edge and the screen shattered. I am curious had I used the InvisibleShield protector, would it saved the screen from breaking? The Invisible Shield commercial showing an individual trying to break the plastic protector with the tip of the pencil and failed. Having said that, poking the plastic with the tip of the pencil is not the same as dropping some heavy or sharp object on to the screen. I would say the law of physics still apply, i.e. the screen may not scratch but it will crack due to extremely or suddent pressured placed exerts on the screen. I would go even further by saying, if anyone try to claim their misfortune with the protector manufacturer, they will be asked to read the fine print if there is one. In any case, I must say I am extremely happy with Apple's customer service. They gave me a new phone free of charge! Now I am an Apple fan not that I already am before this latest mishaps.
