I really enjoyed the story and message in this book, but what really captured me were the illustrations. The characters are drawn with their own personalities that really help kids connect to the story. This would be a great book for classroom lessons on the environment, or to read at home just for fun.

Not only was this book beautifully illustrated but extremely entertaining. My children loved it and that's a sure way of knowing Drew has the gifted talent to reach all ages, both young and old, with this book. A "classic" in the making for sure especially when introducing environmental issues. (Our kids learned how to care about and appreciate their world around them even more through the eyes of Drew's colorful friends)

Laughter is so important and so tricky to create through writing. Drew has succeeded in this work. I recommend it to all who just want to laugh and laugh some more.

A wonderful gift for the holidays: funny and educational! Though it teaches about environmental issues, it never feels forced or preachy. I highly recommend it!

I have been reading bits and "pieces" of these characters over the last 15 years. Drew's thoughtfulness comes through in his furry friends, and captures the subtlety of Drew's sense of humor as he takes us through a day in the life at the pond. He writes from his own experiences, I honestly believe he's been to the "Pond". My kids will grow up reading Green Pieces!

It's been a long time since I had the occasion to pick up a cartoon book, however I couldn't resist picking up Drew Aguilina's "Green From the Pond Up". This beautifully illustrated and well presented book made me smile from my first encounter all the way through the entire book. Green Pieces is a delight for all ages!

Great book for all ages. Very witty and humerous. I ended up getting a copy for all of my neices and newphews. After seeing it, I now have to get copies for my mother and sisters, as well! It definitly deserves all of the awards and accolades it has been given.

Wonderful illustrations and good, wholesome fun -- can't get better than that, especially when so much humor these days is cynical, negative and snarky. Great entertainment.

The illustrations are amazing and contribute positively to the story's impact on the reader. I love that the book is written from the perspective of pond animals and with a focus on the environment. I'd love to see a series of these stories in the future.

Amazing and so creative, this is a great book for all ages! Our children love to read it and of course look at the fabulous pictures and we enjoy it for it's great message!
