this is only partially compatable with the Tamagotchi Version 2's, you can't exchange wrapped gifts, but other than that it is better than the previous ones with more characters & games & communication with Tama Town.

We bought 2 of these, one for each of our twins. They just love them. They are small enough to put in your pocket to take along. With many activities they are never bored.
