Some really great recpies here, but I would have given 5 stars if the measurments were also in metric., ie milliliters and ounces. looking forward to trying them all. Also, as this book is part of the superhealthyme.com project, it would make sense to also include the calories/kj of each drink so it can more easily be logged if you are tracking your eating.

I have been using the recipes for a while now. All of the smoothies I have made have been great. I make one every morning and I feel better about myself using local organic ingredients. It's good to know that there are recipes out there like these!!

As a college student I don't always have the time to prepare healthy, balanced meals. Spending long hours on campus and rushing right to my part-time job in the evening leaves me short windows to grab a bite. I am passionate about my health and wellness and these green smoothie recipes are just the ticket. They are a perfect way for me to get the nutrients I need and enjoy in on the go. The variety of recipes from salty, savory avocado to juicy, sweet grapes will suit any flavor preference. If your looking for a way to "go green" on the run... this book is a great place to start.
