It is quiet, easy to use & very easy to clean when done.

I love this Green Star Complete Juice Extractor GS-2000 Tribest because it will juice every thing that you want to juice.

Yes, it has several parts to disassemble to clean, but it's very easy to do - 10-15 min - and re-assembly is idiot-proof.

I love this machine. I use in quite often to make a variety of juice drinks. Yes it is a bit of a chore to clean, but if you do it right away and get into a rountine in only takes about 10 minutes to get it done. I love that it doesn't heat the juice so that the enzymes are still alive. I also got a pump n seal so that I can put the juice in mason jars and vacuum pack them so it last longer. I juice a big batch of "green lemonade" (see Natalia Rose THe Raw Food Detox Diet) about twice a week and make other drinks when desired. I am looking forward to making nut butters as well. I have also used the pulp in some other recipes and the remainder goes in my compost pile (boy does it break down fast as pulp!) Enjoy!

This was my first juicer, so I have no basis for comparison except what the manufacturer claims. You cannot juice wheatgrass with this, that is a blatant lie. you will get so much more foam than juice you will wish that you had driven to a juice bar and paid for them to do it, plus now you have to clean it again.

It juices things like carrots, jicama, green leaves and celery very well. The tougher and harder the veggie, the better this thing is. It absolutely cannot juice things like citrus, tomatoes, and even most apples will cause it to clog up quickly. It is so so at juicing cucumber. It is recommended that if you need to juice apples or cukes, switch off with a piece of carrot to push it all through.

I tried making almond butter several times, and it comes out looking like bread crumbs. I ran it through a bunch of times, and eventually it resembled almond "dough", cetrainly nothing creamy that could be called "almond butter" by any definition.

Cleaning it seems like a chore. I believe there are six pieces you can simply rinse off, and then there is the screen which you must scrub with the included brush. This is a total pain, and if you need to replace the brush or any other parts, they are very pricey. Oh and this machine weighs like 30 pounds!

My intent is not to bring anyone down with a lot of negativity, it's just that this was my experience and the reviews I have read didn't really paint the whole picture.

I've been using this juicer for 10 months, about 4 times a week. I love it. It's quiet. You can carry on a normal conversation while the machine is running. Juices slowly at a cool temperature. Makes minimal foam. Squeezes the pulp dry. You don't waste so much as with the non-gear driven kind. You don't need another machine to do different stuff. E.g., it handles fresh ginger as easily as carrots. Yes, it has several parts to disassemble to clean, but it's very easy to do - 10-15 min - and re-assembly is idiot-proof. I'm very happy with the Green Star.

I love this juicer & highly recommend it. When I received it, the box was in horrible shape, but the contents were intact. The juicer came with a DVD to show how to use it, but after viewing it, I felt it was not really very useful. I feel the same about the booklet provided - kind of so, so in application & usefulness. I've had to go to other sources to find out juicing specifics.

I use my juicer once every 3 days as I juice enough to last me 2-3 days to keep my juice fresh. It is quiet, easy to use & very easy to clean when done. I set the juicer on the counter next to my sink. At the sink, I prepare my veggies & stack them next to the juicer on a clean towel. Presently, I'm juicing carrots, celery, kale & swiss chard & some apples. Once I'm done filling my juice jars & storing them in the fridge, I'm ready to disassemble the juicer for cleaning. The running water is right there for rinsing the parts as I take them off the machine. The filter does need a little help with the brush, but it doesn't take long. As I rinse, I stack the parts on another towel for draining & drying. You can tip the machine down a little towards the sink & give it a quick, very light & gentle rinse with the sink spray where the last part came off to get rid of the last veggie residue. Once the parts are dry, I re-assemble them on the juicer & it's ready to go for the next time.

Even my husband likes to come & help me with this process, from start to finish.

This is a superbly well-made machine. However, it is difficult to assemble and a pain in the butt to clean. Takes 20 minutes to clean after using. I really wish I had gotten the Vita-mix instead.

I bought the Green Star after using cheaper centifugal juicers and doing a lot of research. I was beginning to grow my own wheatgrass, so I had to get a juicer that could handle it.

I love how quickly and easily this machine juices everything, while maintaining low temperatures. At first I thought it was a pain to clean, but after a couple of times, it didn't seem tedious or difficult at all. Just rinse the parts and go! I highly recommend this if you're planning to be a heavy juice drinker. If you're just starting out, try a less expensive machine to be sure it's not just a fad, or you will have wasted a lot of money. But if you're sure you'll be juicing daily, this is the machine for you!

I researched juicers for two days before plunking down the $499 that I saved up for two years. Do not get me wrong this is a very nice juicer but if you plan on juicing a huge amount of things it takes FOREVER. I spent two hours one Sunday trying to juice some greens and other veggies I got at the farmers market. I do understand that it is better to juice slower to not destroy the nutrients but the feeder tube on this is very small and I did end up having to take it apart a couple of times because it got clogged, now that might have been something done wrong on my part. Also there is the pulp extractor pressure thing and I was really confused on how to have that set so again it just might be me not working it right. I tried again another day and found if I didn't overload the feeder it seemed to not clog up as much. I don't regret buying it but it is now sitting on the floor of my pantry because I work full time and found it too time consuming for my needs. I had a Jack LaLaine juicer previously and it was horrible for juicing greens, this machine does work very well if you want to juice leafy greens. I can't honestly say if I would highly recommend this juicer or not, and those gear things are weird as you always have to be extra careful how they are placed in the machine or you can ruin them and they cost around $200 to replace. Buy this machine if you are extra intelligent with putting things together and handling parts, that is my recommendation.
