A great book on so many levels! My kids love the bright pictures. Each of the items in view are easily distinguishable by my kids and the whole concept of the book has been found to translate very well to reality where I have noticed a huge increase in my kids actually ASKING for fruits and vegetables more often. We've got a garden now too and this book is great for helping me enroll them in helping out.
Kids most interested: Age - 9mo, 2, 5... the 8 year-old, not so much... but he does love to read this one to the others now and then!

This is a very simple book with lots of colorful images. It tells children where fruits and vegetables grow. Since there's no 'Look inside' option I'll give you an example: A child is by an apple tree and it reads "The red apple grows on the tree. I pick it and eat it!" In the back is a parents page on growing a garden. Great book!

Planning on planting this spring, my husband & I have been reading a lot of books about gardening. We bought this book so that we can share our hobby with our son!

Although it is not a board book, it has very thick sturdy pages (think cereal box)- perfect for an aggressive tot!
