About the Author

Barry Ballard was born in rural Holt, Michigan. After returning from Vietnam, he earned an M.A. in theology and philosophy from Texas Christian University. His poems have appeared in American Literary Review, Midwestern Quarterly, Paris/Atlantic, and many other journals. A winner of a 1999 Award for Literature from the University of Alaska, this is his first published collection.
