5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for little eaters!
I love these! Made from recycled milk jugs, BPA free and dishwasher safe - what more could you want! They are the perfect size for feeding my little ones (9 months old), when they get older and these become too small they will be the perfect size for them to play with. Thank you green toys - I love all of your products!

3.0 out of 5 stars LOL, make sure you read the dimensions of the product!!!
This line SOUNDS great! I just received my bowls and plates and laughed hysterically! I didn't read the dimensions of the product, so was shocked to see these tiny bowls and plates. They are literally the size of tea cup saucers, if not smaller. They look as if they are for play time with a dolly. As much as I love the earth friendly composition, the fact that they...

They are literally the size of tea cup saucers, if not smaller. They look as if they are for play time with a dolly. As much as I love the earth friendly composition, the fact that they are dishwasher safe and the quantity, knowing now the size, I would not say they are a good value. Very disappointing!!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Too Small!, April 7, 2010

I have been eagerly awaiting the sale of these bowls & plates. How disappointed I was to open the box and see how tiny they are! Wow, my kids are both over the age of 2 and these are not adequate to hold the food that they would consume in one sitting. I kind of figured that from a line who creates "play size" tea sets & toys, they would bump it up a size for "real" eating. I guess I should have read the description and gotten out a tape measure to make sure I was getting usable size bowls & plates. Major disappointment and they will be sent back...

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful little bowl, August 16, 2010

These bowls are not very big, hold about 4-5 ounces of food or cereal comfortably, but they are wonderful for first feedings. They are a size that fits really well in my hand and seem to a great quality at a very affordable price. I know that when I am done with these for babies purposes I will find other uses for them such as holding dips and dressings. They are that nice of quality. I also like that they are plain. I am not big in to getting things with logos or pictures for baby stuff. Good job Green Toys. I also love that these are made in the USA

4.0 out of 5 stars BPA free and just the right size for my toddlers!, August 4, 2010

As a mom of a 4 year old and a 2 year old, I found the portion size to be just right. The bowls are deeper than Gerber bowls, which makes them less prone to spilling. It hasn't been easy to locate products that are BPA free, but this company's products are excellent. (I bought the small green plates, and a tea set as well.) All have done well in the dishwasher. (Top rack.)

I love the petite size of these bowls and use them daily to serve food to my daughter. I prefer the smaller size, as it teaches my child portion control as she grows older. They are dishwasher safe and I have used them in the microwave with no problems. I also like that these bowls are sized smaller as it makes them easier to throw into my diaper bag to take to restaurants. Like most plastics though, they do have a tendency to stain when spaghetti or a red sauce is put in them.

5.0 out of 5 stars these bowls rock!, October 9, 2011

We got these bowls months ago, when our daughter started feeding herself more, and they have withstood the test of time and a toddler! They are the perfect size for toddler meal portions (and, dare I say, adult snacks?). They are dishwasher safe, lightweight for traveling, and very durable! These bowls rock!

This is a great item that we use to feed our 8 mo old cereal for breakfast or the Plum training meals. It's the perfect size for one pouch of food. I love that it is dishwasher safe, but it's just as easy to hand wash. I recommend this item with the spoons by Green Toys. Green Toys makes wonderful products made in the US.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for beginner feeding, transition to play toys!, April 6, 2011
This review is from: Green Toys BPA-Free Feeding Bowl (Baby Product)
I bought a set of bowls and spoons while pregnant, planning to use them when I started my baby on solids. I love that they are bpa free and dishwasher safe, etc etc. I see nothing about being microwave safe, but I've put mine in for 10-15 sec at a time to heat up frozen cubes of baby food with no problems.
I can fit about 6-7 oz of food in a bowl pretty easily. That being said, these are great for beginning baby on solids, but as their appetites grow, these dishes will quickly be outgrown.

Baby girl is now 7 mo old...I plan to add them to the toy stash before too much longer.
