5.0 out of 5 stars Effortless Toddler Plates
I bought these plates a few months ago for my 20 month old and I find we use them all the time. They're surprisingly thick and durable for toddler plates that I find can sometimes be a little flimsy. They're also extremely easy to clean and can go in the dishwasher. We have a couple of larger divided skip hop plates that we sometimes use for meals but I find that I end...

2.0 out of 5 stars Too Small!
I have been eagerly awaiting the sale of these bowls & plates. How disappointed I was to open the box and see how tiny they are! Wow, my kids are both over the age of 2 and these are not adequate to hold the food that they would consume in one sitting. I kind of figured that from a line who creates "play size" tea sets & toys, they would bump it up a size for "real"...

Wow, my kids are both over the age of 2 and these are not adequate to hold the food that they would consume in one sitting. I kind of figured that from a line who creates "play size" tea sets & toys, they would bump it up a size for "real" eating. I guess I should have read the description and gotten out a tape measure to make sure I was getting usable size bowls & plates. Major disappointment and they will be sent back...

5.0 out of 5 stars Effortless Toddler Plates, October 7, 2010
This review is from: Green Toys BPA-Free Feeding Plate (Baby Product)
I bought these plates a few months ago for my 20 month old and I find we use them all the time. They're surprisingly thick and durable for toddler plates that I find can sometimes be a little flimsy. They're also extremely easy to clean and can go in the dishwasher. We have a couple of larger divided skip hop plates that we sometimes use for meals but I find that I end up grabbing these plates most of the time, especially for snacks. My son is still having at least two snacks a day and often his meals are small. The plates aren't huge but that's almost better because they're toddler sized and easier for a child who's at the beginning stages of feeding himself to manage (I also find it's better to limit what he has on his plate to start and add more if he likes it to limit possible messes). I've gone through a few different types of baby/toddler plate and bowl combinations and these are both the most simple and also my favorites of all I've tried.

2.0 out of 5 stars Dissapointed with the quality of these dishes., March 24, 2011

I was very disappointed with the quality of these dishes. They are very small about the same size of a tea cup saucer. To be honest they look like toys. Would not recommend them for every day use.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great little plates for toddlers, December 13, 2011
This review is from: Green Toys BPA-Free Feeding Plate (Baby Product)
I find that these plates are the perfect size for my toddlers. They are smaller than most plates but then toddler portions dont need an "adult" size plate. Easy to clean. The only drawback is that they cannot be heated in the microwave (like all plastic, that is why I prefer glass). They don't chip or break though, which is why i use them.

4.0 out of 5 stars smaller than I thought, November 17, 2010

Small plates . . they kinda look like they should be toy dishes rather than an actual feeding plate. Other than the size, I love it. The color is great, eco-friendly is awesome and it's an inexpensive product that is made here in the US!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect!, September 28, 2010

After receiving the Green Toys Tea Set for my daughter's second birthday, I saw these plates, bowls and spoons and ordered them. They are a great size for a young toddler, not too big but big enough. This is a wonderful company, making safe plastics from recycled material. Unlike other plastic dishes, these are dishwasher safe (they don't emit poisons when heated). They are not recommended for the microwave, but we use a glass dish to heat in the microwave and transfer over anyway. Even their packaging is great. The price also can't be beat. This would make an excellent gift for a new eater, but is great for any child who likes to eat :-)

I think these are great plates, I also have the bowls. They are so small that they're almost useless for any thing but toy dishes.
