Now this is just too cool. A big old flatbed truck with a super cool race car. these things are bulletproof and survived many trips down the stairs. And recycled and made in US too. Well worth the money.

As a Seattle 20-something, it should come as no surprise that I am vehemently environmentally conscious. So as I was searching for good gifts for my nephew and niece's birthday (they're twins that just turned two)I was super excited to stumble upon Green Toys products on Amazon. I have heard of their products before, but since I don't have kids of my own this is the first time I bought stuff from them. I was not disappointed! I think that kids are never too young to start learning about the importance of recycling, which is why I really like that the Green Toys are all made from recycled milk cartons. I decided to buy the Flatbed and Race Car set for my nephew and the Stacking Cups for my niece. They were both total hits, and I will be sure to buy more from this product line in the future. My sister says that the kids actually like sharing the toys, so I am glad that they both are are getting use by both of the kids.
So Here are the features I liked specifically about the flatbed and race car set: All of the moving parts on the toys move freely and easily so a two-year-old like my nephew has no trouble rolling the cars along the floor or tipping the flatbed up and down. The colors are nice and bright, which sometimes you don't get with natural toys. Probably the best part though is that these cars are super sturdy. I cannot tell you how many little trucks and trains my nephew has been able to break and tear apart somehow. However, the flatbed and race car seem to be withstanding his abuse really well. Seriously, last time I was at my sister's house I watched them take a tumble down the stairs, as well as being rolled and rammed into walls, and they are no worse for the wear. I think I might get him the firetruck or garbage truck for Christmas.

My 18 month old loves this car/truck set, and we love the fact that it's a green product. There's already soooo much plastic in this world, why not reuse it for everything. Great products, and the little red car is so cool!
