I bought two of these laser sights several months ago for home defense use. They are mounted on two different guns.

Construction is solid and the battery should last much longer than the hearing aid batteries used in my other laser sight. The two colors of both lasers align on exactly the same spot at a distance of 40 feet. I have not tested it at a greater distance, though I do not expect any significant misalignment. The pigtail switch has failed on one of the units. The other switch shows no sign of problems. A replacement switch is about $5.

The green laser spot is clearly visible in bright daylight, but the red laser is not. The red laser is for use after dusk. As mentioned on other websites, the green laser beam is visible in the the evening and after dark and will point out exactly where you are to an intruder.

Aligning the sight is a simple as any other sight and there has been no misalignment after a couple hundred rounds thru one gun and about a hundred rounds thru the second gun.

These lasers are too large for the typical hand gun.

Great value, especially for the price.

Just got it. Mounted it on the front rail, left side of a Bushmaster M4 type carbine. It fit just fine. The coiled cord for the switch is a bit long as it goes to a vertical grip right below the laser. The adhesive on the Velcro for the switch didn't stick very long. Switch is now zip tied to the grip & works fine. Laser is AWESOME. As said in previous comments, the red is hard to see at 100 feet compared to the green in daylight. The green is too bright in the dark. Green can almost be used as a light in the dark. In the dark, the green laser light is visible all the way back to the origin. Red is not. That is what makes this the laser to put on a long gun. It's too long to put on a pistol. The switch (rotate the round grooved part on the front) is easy to use even in the dark. Waiting for it to get above 20 degrees to go zero it, but don't anticipate problems. Elevation & deviation alignment screws are easy to access even when it's mounted. I plan to buy another one for me & maybe more for my dad & brother.

Red is good for night. Green is good for day. Works great. Haven't had it long enough to test how well it keeps it's zero. It's great for the price. It showed up earlier than I thought it would. Good box with good foam. Came with two Allen wrenches. One for the mount. One for the zero adjustments. Directions were cheaply printed but didn't need them much. Will buy this one again when I need another one. Love the ease of use (Installation & solid switch for going between red & green. Switch works easier than others I've used.). Wish it had a "Master" "On & Off" switch. Adhesive on the Velcro to keep the switch in place only lasted a few minutes. Ended up zip tying it in place.
