An amazing and glorious film,

I saw this movie in 1970 because Roger Ebert ranked it as "the best" and cautioned readers to hurry and see it in its very limited Chicago engagment at one theater. It was stunningly beautiful in all ways and did win the Chicago Film Festival that year.
It has been out on tape (beta and now VHS) but has always cost over $70. Why? I have seen it 3x, several times apart each, and it remains one of the finest 5 films I have seen. I would love a personal copy, but not at $70. Who does one write to? |
