5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding!, December 4, 2011

I purchased this book back in 1981 when I acquired the first of my American Flyer trains. I wanted AF S Gauge trains back in 1948 but opted for a Lionel set since I already had a Lionel prewar set. While at a train meet, I encountered an inexpensive AF steam locomotive and I was off and running! This book guided me through collecting my American Flyer trains, but more importantly, it became a wishbook of the trains I'd like to own. I still enjoy this colorful and informative book. I've seen nothing that compares to it for information and photos of AF S Gauge trains. If you like or collect Flyer, this will prove to be a worthwhile addition to your library. Long out of print.
