A spectacular book
Simply put, since it's publication as two volumes in the 1970s this has been the reference source on Greene and Greene architecture and furniture designs. The depth of coverage is extraordinary. Buy the other big beautiful picture books for the glossy photos (including one by Makinson) but this is the source that *makes sense* of the Greene's true legacy. If you want...

Buy the other big beautiful picture books for the glossy photos (including one by Makinson) but this is the source that *makes sense* of the Greene's true legacy. If you want to go beyond the superficial, buy this book.

One of the best reviews of the ever popular Arts and Crafts style of architecture and design. The color photographs are plentiful and make you want to get in your car and visit each one. Visually the book is stunning.
But, I also found it to be very readable. It is crammed with information, all of it interesting and insightful. A perfect book for anyone who is even the slightest bit interested in the Arts and Crafts movement!

This is a wonderful book on Green and Green architects and their designs. If you are interested in the Arts and Crafts designs and traditions, this book is a must to read.

This is a great book to have for any woodworker especially if you are a fan of Greene & Greene designs. The book was shipped as advertised and received in the condition as advertised.
