When I got this candle, I was a bit startled at how small it seemed. I thought it would be bigger. But after using it, I have realized it's worth every penny and doesn't need to be any bigger than it is. It is lasting FOREVER, and is great! It's worth it because it's great both as a candle (for scenting/lighting the room) and as a lotion! A little goes a LONG way, and it's thick, so I prefer it on my feet and elbows but it's good everywhere. Well worth it! Highly recommended. I loved the lavender smell but I'm going to try the other scents now too.

It's small. Definitely small. Startling small. Think about what you think small is, and then divide that amount in half.
Even when I read the other reviews and knew what I was getting into, it still was fairly small. A little larger in circumference than a quarter, and about an inch and a half tall.

However, the smell is absolutely delicious, and so relaxing. It definitely burns very nicely. In addition to smelling amazing, the candle also turns into wonderful massage oil. My girlfriend loved the way that it felt, and how warm and comfortable it felt. Make sure that you let it cool off enough before removing any of the liquid. Not surprisingly, it can get very hot. Even though it was a little pricey, I would still buy another candle.

I was amused to see the other reviews compared to my experience here. The wick on these candles is smaller than a votive light, so it's little wonder that the wax doesn't melt very quickly at all (even after 10-15 minutes) and while it smells marvelous, i'm thinking some warmed up scented oil would be way easier and more effective. Perfect size for travelling, and Lavender was the perfect scent to calm and relax after a long day at Disneyworld. My feet and hands were dry; after using the candle, the moisture was replenished and was ready to go again the next morning.

I submitted an order for this candle and requested two-day shipping. Not only did I receive this candle in a timely manner, but the company also threw in two free candles as a gift! I was very impressed with how well I was treated. It was such a nice surprise:) The candles smell great and when you pour the melted product onto the skin, it makes the perfect massage. It didn't leave the skin feeling sticky and oily and nasty like other candles I've tried, it moisturized and left the skin feeling supple and fresh not to mention the sweet vanilla smell. The size of this, although described in the product information, is very small. it's also not as user friendly as some of the other similar products. This is all that is promised and described but I would recomend one that is easily pourable and larger.

It not only works as an aromatherapeutic, but when you're patient and you let the wax melt, it makes a lovely massage oil. Follow the massage with a relaxing bath and you're going to be so happy. I liked this scent because it is neither feminine or masculine, and has a cupcake sweetness. Resist the urge to eat one of these candles. The single ounce makes a great little gift.

I too was surprised at the size of the candle having thought for a second it was a free sample. I burned the candle for over 40 minutes and the scent released was minimal at best. While the candle might last it's rated 8-10 hours, there is little point of doing so if not enough scent is released. I do not recommend this product.

I absolutely love these massage candles. I use them for a lot of different things. First, I use them exactly the way Greenfire recommends. Let them heat up, normally 10-15 minutes, then use a TINY amount of the oil produced and rub into feet, hands, lower back, neck, where ever you want to massage. I like to use them on my feet right after a shower... feels so good before bed and my feet really appreciate it.

So the reason I picked this massage candle is GREEN. these are made with all natural products and only natural products, the business is very green focused and conscience of natural and sustainable use.

Overall, I recommend these to everyone. I have bought a bunch recently to give as gifts, and so far everyone that gets one ends up buying more...

I received the candles today and I do have to say that they are smaller then I thought they would be. Buyer beware they are NOT very big, but I got over it after 1 use! These candles are great . You burn them for 15 min and let cool for 5 min, pour melted wax on to area you wish to massage. They smell nice , make your skin feel very soft and very relaxing. I LOVE them!
