4.0 out of 5 stars A book revealing future need, May 20, 2001
By
Mohsin Iqbal (United Arab Emirates) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Greening the Deserts: Techniques and Achievements of Two Japanese Agriculturists (Paperback)
This book details the courage and persistance of the people who truly care for the world's food problem. They have discovered methods and published them for use by others thinking on the same lines.

The book details the Tohyamas attempts to produce food on sand dunes over which it is considered impossible to grow anything. It would have been a great help if the email addresses for these scientists are also mentioned somewhere, so that other people could contact them directly for help and joint venture projects.
