I'm going to buy another one!!!!! I'm totally hooked on Greenleaf dollhouse kits. You have pop the wood out carefully--apply pressure to the corners, not the middle. I haven't had any issues that couldn't be fixed without a little creativity. I bought nail file blocks so my daughter could help with the sanding. We also used acrylic paint from Hobby Lobby instead of buying house paint like the directions suggest. I'm sure the house paint would look wonderful, but we were very happy using a few coats of the $1.19 a bottle acrylic paint. As with everything, I found these houses cheeper on amazon. Also, hobby lobby sells felt that is like a sticker on one side for $.99--a much better deal for the flooring than the $8.99 dollhouse carpeting. Oh, and try scrapbooking paper for wallpaper. $0.22 a sheet vs. $6.99 a roll! This project is so fun! So many ways to get creative!

Buttercup was easy to put together, and I would recommend it to parents who want to spend time with their kids doing a wood project that is pretty easy. A hot glue gun made it easy (for the parent to use). The only caution I would give is that the top wood pieces in the box were very brittle, and I ended up snapping off a tiny piece here and there even though I was careful. The pieces on the bottom were very sturdy, and I didn't have to be so ginger with those.

I enjoyed putting the cottage together and look forward to kids I babysit (and maybe grandkids enjoying it for years to come).

I have to admit I have not started yet. Have been busy reading the instruction before I start. But what I found confusing was the Instructions on "The Instruction Assembly Guide". I decided to go on the web and found a site called "Corona Concept Present The Buttercup All Wood House" with the same Assembly Guide but with pictures on how to put it together and realize this is what I was missing.. I was so happy. Just confuse why the guide came with no pictures..

It is a doll house, instructions are included and it was relatively easy to put together. The nice thing about this kit is it comes with the windows but the roof tiles are not included.

I liked the doll house but I was unaware that it would require additional parts for it to look like the picture. The shingles were not included and that was irritating as I was giving it as a gift.

This was a fairly simple and inexpensive project my daughter and I built for my granddaughter. I learned a lot since this was first attempt so hopefully can pass on some tips to others. Be careful when punching out the pieces as they are very fragile and break easily. When painting the pieces, be sure to paint around the edges as well and sand well with an emery board. Shingles must be purchased separately, so we just painted the roof and it looks fine. Looking forward to my next project :)

Newly retired, I bought this inexpensive dollhouse to explore as a hobby. Removing some of the pieces without breaking was a a bit of a challenge and might be very difficult for a child because many didn't just pop out and had to be cut out. Many of the tabs and grooves didn't line up which made assembly more difficult. The instructions for the windows and gingerbread were confusing. However, for the cost, this little dollhouse was worth it.

This was my first attempt at putting together a dollhouse and it was fairly easy. Of course, I made several mistakes with the type of glue and wood filler but I was able to fix the look with a little imagination. Learned quite a lot about this endeavor and it really came out great! Starting another one soon.

My ten year old daughter and I had great fun decorating, putting together and painting this cute doll house. It was easy to put together.

not for under age 12, it is fragile, needs sanding and adjustment to put together. It is also for adults who like to put together miniatures.
