5.0 out of 5 stars A high quality starter set that won't break the bank
The tools are of good quality, and if you intend on making more than a few strips and cuts, you really should consider investing in your tools.

I purchased these during some sale when they were half off, which made them a steal, as that's how much the voltage detector alone would typically cost.

1.0 out of 5 stars the tester is the only good thing in the kit.
The screwdriver handle is on the bulky side and the bits fall out of the chrome holder when you drop it and rattle inside the handle. Conversely, the holder is clumsy and sticky to insert into the handle, yet still pops out too easily also.

The tester is good. Dropped it out of shirt pocket when leaning over several times.....works well, but make sure to test...

I purchased these during some sale when they were half off, which made them a steal, as that's how much the voltage detector alone would typically cost.

My only gripe is that the holster comes with 3 holes and a sleeve. The sleeve is for the wire stripper, and the 2 holes are for the screw driver and voltage detector. What's the last hole for? The screw head doesn't fit, so I stuffed a pen in it for now...

I purchased two of these from Amazon in hopes that it would be a good quality product and it is.

This is a very nice electrical set.

To electricians, their preference in tools are Greenlee and Klein. I've owned
cheap strippers for years and wanted to buy a good pair. I was surprised at the
good quality of the tools. Especially the screw driver. This set is a bargain.
Greenlee has lived up to their reputation.

The screwdriver handle is on the bulky side and the bits fall out of the chrome holder when you drop it and rattle inside the handle. Conversely, the holder is clumsy and sticky to insert into the handle, yet still pops out too easily also.

The tester is good. Dropped it out of shirt pocket when leaning over several times.....works well, but make sure to test romex completely by making contact with both sides of conduit as sometimes it will read false as no voltage present if it's only touching the neutral side of the conduit.

The pocket/pouch is useless because it lacks a metal belt clip. I do not want to undo my belt to put this on, i'd rather just be able to clip it on and off as needed, or clip it to a pants pocket instead of up high on my belt. I never use it because of this.

The wire strippers spring lock keeps swiveling when in use and falls into the locked position arbitrarily, either locking them closed or locking them open depending on the angle that the tool is being held. Very frustrating and bad design, build quality. The hand feel is fine for occasional use, but a good tool feel often inspires a better job.

Overall I have determined the Green-Lee brand to be no better than any of the big box store house brand of tools. Perhaps not even that good. I would suggest buying a stripper and screwdriver and pouch from a "better" brand.
