For the price & quality this crimper was the perfect choice for me. I've been working w/ an electrician and hate asking to use tools out of his, or anybody's, tool bag so I bought this and a few other Greenlee 'specialty' tools to compliment my core Knipex electrical tools. I found that Greenlee makes great hand tools, this one is no exception. A couple of the mechanics on the job have the Klein version which is excellent but for rook like me a, $22 Greenlee works fine. Mine came nice & loose right out if the package unlike my Knipex stuff which I had to brine dip overnight to break them in quickly.

I use crimpers all day long. These are the best that I have used. The cutters have an almost diagonal/dyke style to them, anyway they cut better than the Kliens and Snap-on crimpers I have had in the past and the handles feel good in my hands. Greenlee makes a lot of high quality tools.

I have owned three of these in my life.. I bought more because they either got left behind in a customers vehicle or stolen.. idk. but they are good on crimping 4 guage and also cutting wire. if you do car audio . get this one.. do not waste your time on anything else

Very strong and no issues. If you'd rather spend extra $$.. get Klein. In my opinion, you'll be getting a comparable tool.
