These are the same connectors as the linked 50-pack, just a smaller quantity. I wanted 25, but I settled on two packs of ten. The plastic is blue, but it does not really matter since it all disappears when compressed correctly. If the plastic bulges out, you likely have not trimmed enough insulation from the cable. The plastic sleeve comes off, I kinda wish there were spare plastic inserts for trial and error hobbyists. Once you compress, the plastic is crushed.
I started using compression connectors and quad shielded cable a few years back, and never had a problem with them. Mainly, I got these to use outdoors. But since they are so easy to install, I use them indoors as well. I have seen too many cables and connectors that are not worth the two cents they cost to manufacture. The aggravation saved is certainly worth a few bucks.
Updated - did notice some non-RG6 Quad cable can occasionally have some slippage if too much shielding is removed but I fault the less compatible cabling over the ends.
