Didn't work for me, might for you, July 8, 2004
I bought four of these to use in wall sconces operated from a dimmer switch. Unfortunately, the one I opened buzzed loudly and flickered wildly, no matter how the dimmer was adjusted. WattBuster's customer service was quick to authorize a return. They indicated that these bulbs don't work well with all dimmer switches.

Buzzy and Flickery, January 23, 2007
I bought these for the dimmer in our bedroom in September 2006. They made a horrible buzzing sound, even when at full brightness, and flickered distractingly when dimmed.
I've since found the "Harmony Dimmable Spiral" DS-20W lightbulb which works a treat in all my dimmer-switch sockets. I highly recommend that over this model.

Confusion all around, February 21, 2007
I'm generally satisfied with these bulbs. They're CF. They're dimmable. They use very little power. Unfortunately there has also been many problems with this order:
1) Shipping could not be determined before placing the order. Once placed shipping was revealed to be almost the same cost as the bulb itself (~$5 for each).
2) The bulbs that arrived were made by a different vendor - ULA (Ulighting USA). The box claims a 15W power use.
3) Of twelve bulbs ordered, one arrived DOA and another failed after two weeks of use. The vendor promptly mailed a refund check for the DOA bulb (though the check did not cover the $5 shipping charge for the bulb, and the vendor ignored my request for a replacement bulb rather than a check).
4) At least two of the remaining ten bulbs are noticeably dimmer than their counterparts.
5) The bulbs were shipped without a receipt or packing slip. The manufacturer's warranty requires them:
"If this bulb burns out before its life expectancy, U LIGHTING will send the replacement bulb upon receipt of the returned bulb, register receipt and proof of purchase."
I recommend these bulbs, but caution that you should also be prepared to spend a bit of time arguing with companies and sellers before you end up with a known working set.
