I just drank 1 scoop...it is the most horrible experience and the worst tasting stuff. I can't believe I downed this...I feel sick (gag feeling). I'll be alright...this stuff is healthy right???? I think I'll return it. eww. Sorry guys. It just tastes very seafood, sea smell and taste sea-like.

I agree with those who are saying that this is UNBELIEVABLY gross. And I generally love health food drinks. I am used to and like wheatgrass juice and spirulina, but for some reason, this drink is abhorrent. The first time I drank it, I literally almost puked from the taste. Since I feel compelled to finish what I bought, I am now pinching my nose as I quickly down the drink (this way I can't taste it at all), and then I brush and Listerine my mouth before I unpinch. Seriously, it's that bad. And i agree with the other reviewer who said that there's a weird sediment at the bottom. I would say between half to three-quarters of what you put in doesn't dissolve, so there's just a large pile of grainy stuff on the bottom. I've tried putting in half the recommended powder to water, but that doesn't seem to help much.

I love this stuff and have taken it in a smoothie daily for about a year.

I consume a short list of different superfood powders (green, fruit, and sundry). I will be the first one to admit that these powders are generally geared more toward health benefits than toward great taste and palatability.

In other words, I am pretty tolerant when it comes to the subtleties of these formulas.

My assumption is that this product is fantastic from a health perspective. However, there is a very fine white-sand-like powder that settles into the bottom of the cup when drinking this product as directed. It does not seem particularly food-like, and it leaves me wondering if I should just throw it out.

I would hesitate to recommend this, because most of us are not good about sticking with something that we are not entirely comfortable with.

Now brand Phytofoods is a very palatable green drink. It contains peppermint leaf powder and it goes down better than any other comparable green formula that I have tried. It is also more cost-effective when you buy the two pound container.

I have no personal agenda in terms of either Now brand or the Organic Frog. This is just a recap of my experience with these two brands.
