5.0 out of 5 stars excellent dancehall compilation, May 29, 2002

This review is from: Greensleeves Reggae Sampler 23 (Audio CD)
This is the best dancehall compilation I have bought in a while. There are only 2 or 3 songs on this album that don't completely blow me away. I listen to it over and over and over. It's low on the novelty and r+b cover songs and big on the original and infectious dancehall and is the perfect mix between conscious tunes and more standard dancehall themes. I couldn't recommend this more highly (much better than Reggae Gold 2002 or Ragga Ragga Ragga 16).

5.0 out of 5 stars A GOOD COMPILATION SERIES., July 17, 2002
This review is from: Greensleeves Reggae Sampler 23 (Audio CD)
I Think this is a really good album to buy. The songs and the riddims were good. The album starts off with some good tunes like "The Bombing "and "Log on by Elephant Man. I also liked "Ladies Looking Fine" on the Martial Arts riddim by Wayne Marshall, Richie Stephens, and Bounty killer. These artists make a great combination. Some of the other good songs were "Make it real good" by Crissy D on the Diwali riddim,"Jamaica" on the Martial Arts riddim, by Alozade, and "Log on girls" by Capelton.
